Niall mainly advises clients in respect of Business Commercial and Contract Law, Planning and Environmental Law, Residential and Commercial Property Law, Sports Governance Law and Employment Law.
He is a member of the Roll of Solicitors in the Republic of Ireland, England and Wales.
He also has a keen interest in sports law, particularly the area of Motorsport Law and advises on governance, regulatory and disciplinary matters. He has also acted for participants in GAA, Rugby and various other sports in relation to disciplinary and governance issues.
He advises on legal issues facing sports athletes in GAA and has represented a number of players before the Dispute Resolutions Authority recently. Niall Geaney currently sits on the FIA Formula One and Formula E Cost Cap Adjudication Panel as a Judge at International Level in Motorsport. He also has significant experience in advising on Sports Disciplinary and Regulatory matters nationally and has previously advised the National Governing Body (Motorsport Ireland) on numerous occasions over the last 12 years. Niall's knowledge of National and International Rules and Regulations surrounding the sport of Motorsport are vast which he has developed through his interest and experience of the sport and is amongst only a small handful of lawyers in Ireland with such experience and knowledge.
Niall advises a number of other sports governing bodies on a broad range of legal issues with a particular interest in unique and extreme sports. Some of the more unique clients that Niall is currently advising in the extreme sports world -

Niall was educated at the University of Limerick where he graduated in 2004 an L.L.B Law Degree prior to qualifying as a Solicitor.

Patrick established the firm in 1995 and has successfully developed it over the last 26 years to the successful nationwide practice that it is today.
Prior to this Patrick had over thirty years legal experience working for other legal firms in Limerick and for Limerick City Council
